West Ridge was a small property in need of extensive refurbishment. Built on the side of Campden Hill, just outside of Ilmington, the property benefitted from un rivalled views over the North Cotswolds.
With careful consideration made on how to make the most of the views, a number of extensions were built made from locally quarried Cotswold stone and Cotswold stone slates. Floor to ceiling glazed windows, expansive aluminium sliding doors and bi-folding doors to the master bedroom meant outstanding views over the countryside.
With a complete overhaul on the electrical and mechanical services to the property, new traditional themed en-suites and bathrooms with tiled floors throughout, finished with a bespoke handmade kitchen helped win this ‘Best Major Domestic Project’ in the Stratford Building Control Building Excellence Awards 2015’.
